Meet Dr. D
I’m a psychotherapist, educator, writer, and founder of A Novel Therapy, where I explore the connection between story, psychology, and personal growth.
After more than 20 years as a therapist, I began noticing that people often understand themselves more deeply through the books and characters they love. I want A Novel Therapy to be a place where I help readers uncover what their favorite stories reveal about relationships, resilience, identity, grief, hope, and transformation.
I’m also a fiction writer, with my debut fantasy novel inspired by Irish folklore in the editing phase.
